FAQ's about Sewer Lines

On average it takes between 1-3 hours for entire sewer line cleaning and unclogging.

Firstly we evaluate where the clogging exists, then we begin clearing out the sewer line with our jetting service! If we discover damages to your sewer, repair services could take longer than cleaning and unclogging.

Only a few hundred bucks!

Sewer Cleaning and unclogging can be a simple process, but if your clogs have lead to damages or cracks in your sewer line, than you may have repair and replacement costs as well.

Your main sewer line is clogged when multiple plumbing fixtures—like a toilet, tub, and sink—back up or drain slowly at the same time.

Also, when you start to hear abnormal noises coming from fixtures and your regular plumbing system.

Absolutely NOT! Never use Draino or any similar product on your sewer lines.

These chemicals are mostly used for small lines and organic clogs near a sink or drain. They do not work with sewer pipes and can lead to damaged or degrading sewer lines over time.

Currently we do not. Trenchless Sewer and Pipe repair services require specialty cured-in-place-piping materials and equipment.

This equipment can be costly, but we intend to increase our services and are hoping to provide CIPP in the next few years! In the meantime, we locally source incredible and certified CIPP plumbers.

You could be exposed to gas in your body and in your home, leading to major health issues and serious property damage.

On average sewer lines are buried between 4 and 6 feet deep.

Lines are buried deep to keep them from freezing in colder seasons and reduces the fluctuation of temperature that often damages your pipes. Here in South Hill, Puyallup, we can get down to freezing temperatures in the winter, so it important that when installing, your sewer lines are placed at least 4-6 feet deep to reduce the possibility of damages from freezing.

Not Always!

Certain sewer repairs can be made without heavy equipment. But often times, hand digging is necessary to access the sewer line and uncover the issues. If the damages to your sewer cannot be reached by hand, then heavy equipment will be called in to properly locate and access the sewer line.

Certain large jobs or commercial sewer lines often require an excavator.
